Hailing from NYC, Bronx Native, Shanai Williams is a deeply spiritual and incredibly free individual. With one hand in the ether and the other here on Earth, she aims to cultivate and immerse herself in spaces where Black artists of all ages can connect, showcase their art, and be valued beyond a dollar sign. Shanai has been known to find art in anything and most enjoys when she is able to blend various mediums in order to create something new. She was able to practice this intentionally by creating her own major at Wheaton College MA. After graduating with her degree in Creative Storytelling, Shanai swore to herself that her works would continue to be honest and reflective of herself, her connection to the world, and those around her. If she isn’t spending her time creating Shanai is actively in community with others. She will often find herself deep in conversation with strangers, exchanging passions and sharing visions for the world.
